Laura is a singer and songwriter from Amsterdam, born in 1989. She makes country music inspired by artists such as Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood, and with recognisable pop and rock roots from listening to a lot of Springsteen and Beatles.
She released Love and Danger in June 2019 – the first single of upcoming album Holy Fountain Water, marking a transition towards a songwriting style that is ‘a bit more of everything’. More mature, more courageous, more experimental, and at the same time more Classically Country with a capital C.
Her first EP Skipper Canyon Road was released in 2017. It received critical acclaim from Dutch national radio channel NPO2, among others.
When Laura is not singing, writing songs, or frantically masterminding a new promotion strategy, she rides horses and makes oil paintings.
